Watching and listening to Oprah address Class of 2008 at Stanford’s 117th Commencement on June 15, 2008. I found that there was a time when she was setting out, when the first radio station she worked for in Baltimore told her they had decided to change her name.They said no one would ever remember Oprah, so we are going to call you Suzie. Oprah, who was then 22, decided not to change her name.
