In honor of International Happiness Day I thought I would start a meme and list 10 things that make me happy, anyone can join in: Comment below or write and trackback here.

- Watching a sunrise
- Feeling the sun on my face
- A comment from a reader saying I have inspired them
- The sound of children playing
- Seeing a pelican each morning on the way back from the beach ( most mornings)
- The magic I feel when I see a rainbow forming
- Walking on the beach to start the day. Just this morning this lifted my vibes.
- The magic of the love I share with Des
- Meeting an old friend and feeling like it was yesterday.
- Memories of childhood holidays

What I really like about your list is these things are FREE!
To many people think you must spend tons of money to make yourself happy!
Ok, I do not live near a beach and that would take money to get there but, I enjoy other things that are right in my part of the desert.

That is so right, I focused an the small things that make me smile.
Living by the beach has been an amazing move for us. We are finding this move has saved us lots of $, much cheaper and healthier to live here than when we lived in Sydney- big city.

I don’t know what makes me happy. I honestly spend way too much time trying to think about how to fix the world. Maybe that would make me happier, actually doing something about world problems.
