What’s all the excitement about? This was the hottest thing yesterday, I found I couldn’t access the website after I noticed that I received an email telling me the “AGLOCO View bar has been released and is ready for you to download now. Since you signed up with AGLOCO, our community has continued to grow even larger, stronger, and more active. With the View bar software, we are excited for each Member of the AGLOCO community to begin earning their share of the wealth generated on the Internet.”
So Agloco – Own the Internet is the slogan. I first read about this last November and joined and forgot about it. Last week I read about this on John Chow’s blog and read his archived articles and saw that this was a referral network that would grow virally. The toolbar that sits at the bottom of my screen is currently without ads. Yesterday there was a jeweler’s ad there. I don’t find it intrusive and you can turn it off.
John set himself a goal to have 5000-7500 referrals by launch day which he surpassed on June 3 the day before release there were 17,000 plus. He believes it will really take off when it the view bar is released. He was writing, now it is the real thing, I have found the website has been in overload mode. I will continue to report back as I set my self the target of getting 1000 referrals this month. This also could become an interesting pay it forward system as There has been an Agloco Foundation set up where the money will go to a charity, and members can choose to do the same.
