I understand exactly where you're coming from. I have a video game blog for the past four years that sees zero income. I write because I love gaming and I love writing. But sometimes, it's hard to force myself to put my thoughts on a page, especially when only a few hundred people (if I'm lucky) are waiting for my next update.

I find that it's better to do one 200 word post a day than one 1,000 word post a week. If you wait for a huge concept, you'll miss the boat entirely. If you get in the habit of writing every day, the rest will come naturally.

Oh, I love that. You normally hear that applied to writing, but it's no less true for swapping the verb. Thinking about it is not doing it, and the only way to get better at it is to do it. But people get stuck in thinking a blog HAS TO BE DAILY. No, it really doesn't. Sometimes the best ones are weekly updaters only.
