The Best Web Host
This is an amazing hosting service Hostgator, that we changed to last year. A great choice.
Today I have had an instance of their great Customer service. I had redirected a domain to one of my affiliate links which I have decided to no longer promote and thought I would use this domain for a new blog. I went into the control panel to take the redirection off and found within the panel, it was not redirected but the domain was still going to the other domain..
I used the live help facility, which when you are in Australia and most people in USA are sleeping is a dream. Within 5 minutes Cody, the customer service techie had solved the challenge..
I have had several instances of this. They are always there by live online support or phone.
We have about 10 domains hosted there for 9.95 month and many email accounts.
As we mainly host blogs these days , hostgator is wonderful this, with the option to use Fantastico and the blog is installed in minutes.
They have also been helpful when i have had an issue with a script.
When we hosted here in Australia, it was 9-5 and triple the cost for about a 10th the bandwidth. If something went down over the weekend no one was at home
I had experience with another company recently which came as part of a package. You got very restricted bandwith 2 or 3 domains hosted, 1 email address,no live support, no phone number and was 19.95 a month. I wonder how long companies like that will be in business.
it seem like most things these days, you need to shop around and be webwize.
I recommend Hostgator, if you are looking for a great hosting service , that has excellent customer service and open 24 hours a day and a good affiliate program.

Suzie, I totally agree. I’ve had similar experience with their support - first rate. I chose Hostgator because I needed a lower cost option and by using their reseller option I can add as many sites / blogs as I like at no extra cost.
I have been delighted with Hostgator. They are more reliable than my former Aussie host, I can have unlimited domains and subdomains, uploading is speedy. Their live chat has bailed me out a few times too.
