Law of attraction in Action

Getting Motivated to Take Action

by Suzie Cheel on March 6, 2008

People often say that motivation doesn’t last. Well, neither does bathing – that’s why we recommend it daily. - Zig Ziglar

This morning while I was listening to a webinar, I decided to do a little more de-cluttering of my email (Yes, still multitasking). I have been gradually removing myself from most lists.

There was an email in my affiliate folder from Joel Comm, titled "How to get Motivated to Take Action", so I clicked on the link and was taken to the video below.

Joel isn’t saying anything new, but this does reinforce the saying above by Zig Ziglar.

You need to find your passion. It is what you are passionate about that will keep you enthused and not getting distracted.

You will have heard Joel saying that he still gets distracted by bright shiny objects.

 Getting Motivated to Take Action

You need to develop the habits as well as find your passion and follow it. The old saying "Do what you love and the money will follow" can apply here. You must remember to add action to the passion.

Not clear about where you are heading? Try the Getting Clarity Exercise.

Gratitude today to:
Mrs Brownhorse for the bathing photo
Joel Comm for the video
Gin soak for the bright shiny object

Motivation is like food for the brain. You cannot get enough in one sitting. It needs continual and regular top ups. Peter Davies

Hello Suzie
Thank you for the motivational insight. I need to get some top ups now and again for inspiration. I think we all do. Great Blog!

Hi Suzie

There is a real underlying importance in this post for anyone working online. There are so many “gurus” preaching find a hungry market and supply products yet so few advise doing what you really enjoy. If you are not working in an area you at least enjoy (preferably are passionate about) then boredom will soon set in and it will be difficult to continue providing quality content. No matter how remunerative the niche it will not provide the rewards being sought.
