Beach Notes:

This is a almost weekly feature at Liz Strauss’s Successful Blog. The idea came from Liz who has walked on many beaches here in Australia.  Recently Des Walsh and I have started doing this together, rather than individually. Liz originally suggested that I might write an inspirational post in the morning and Des could do a business post afternoon.

We usually get the idea for our post when we are walking on the beach.

The post this week combine both business and inspiration titled Being Prepared inspired by surfboard riders preparing to go out and tackle the waves.

Thinking Home Business:

This week I started writing at Thinking Home Business after a break of several months. I mentioned in the article Problogger says define your Niche,  that would be writing articles there that relate to business and blogging. This week inspired by a tweet from  Pete Cashmore @ Mashable I wrote Become a Seo Expert.

The tool looks really useful and I have to admit to installing and yet to test.

Each Sunday- well most Sundays I write a guest post at Liz Strauss’s Blog. This came about after meeting Liz last year at Blog World Expo.

Liz has walked on many beaches here in Australia and like the idea of having an international flavor on her blog. With both Des and I writing, so far it has been just me.

This week in comes Des with the words to go with the idea and the picture.

I am on a 3 daycountdown to complete My Boundless Living Challenge by this Thursday and I was feeling that I was running to make the completion.

When I saw the footsteps, I thought: “putting one foot in front of the other is what I need to do , focus on the task at hand.”

My weekly Beach Notes guest post is up at Successful Blog, this week I have written about Getting In the Groove.

I enjoy this weekly writing, it stretches me in a different way to writing here on the highway. It also takes my writing to a wider audience. I also feel honored that Liz asked me to write for her famous blog.

Liz is a great friend to bloggers. I know when I received my SOB I was both surprised and honored.

What a weekend Glenda and I have had putting together Team World. To be launched on Monday.We have formed a group at ning and  we have both learnt many new skills and had a wonderful collaboration project. Amazing what you can do with google docs, gmails, skype and facebook. Easy for me, Glenda remember has cerebral palsy. This has been and will be a fantastic ongoing project where we can Be The Law of Attraction in Action and make a difference in the world. Watch for tweets, emails and posts and get ready to have some fun.

This will be a regular weekly feature and this was a post Liz suggested would be of interest after I raised it on Liz’s weekly opan Mic session last week. Well I have learnt a lot!. I was listening to the Q&A last week on the Last Class for Six Figure Blogging and I thought This was a no no mentioned by Darren and Andy. Sometimes event in life aren’t always perfect, but this has been a fun ride. yes Six Figure Blogging was worth the investment and I will go back and review when the madness stops.
