Suzie’s BHAG Update

Yes I am back and ready to roll, body just decided to slow me down a little. Feeling a little jet lagged and body seems to be wanting a rest. Probably not surprising as I haven’t stopped since I decided on this path. I am going to put LOA into action to get the energy level back up and listen to some of the free goodies that I was given my Michael.

A quick update on the state of my BHAG. Sold some more scarves and have had 1 more Chipin from Tray Gamble of Success Chronicle and Nancy Batenburg from 5 Energies.

Glenda and I are writing a synopsis of our adventure and what we plan to do in the future with Team World , the Ning group.

I will be updating the thermometer each week.Next week I will start on the Ebay items and June 30th an opportunity to still donate $20 plus to get the teleseminar free and a link.

The Story of how an experiment was born and how it will make a difference in the world

Team World: Be The Law of Attraction in Action is the brain child of Glenda Watson Hyatt, the Left Thumb Blogger. What a weekend we have had putting this together. We have both learnt new skills, had fun and found that we work really well together.

I had set myself a Big Hairy Audacious Goal (BHAG) and was on open MIC over at Liz Strauss’s Successful Blog on Tuesday May 20. The topic was Great Turning Points. Being at a great turning point in my life, I readily joined in.

The conversation follows,that tells the story

Glenda asked " Hey Suzie, how goes your BHAG?"

Suzie: "BHAG – still a bit scary – launched my studio online today with a sale.

Would love if I could get all of you to help me promote this – I am giving prizes etc starting tomorrow, on my Abundance Highway site, to people who promote me and my BHAG. Some will be LOA stuff! I also plan to have tele-classes and a program to help bloggers use LOA to take your blogging to be really profitable, etc.

Liz asked Suzie:Tell what BHAG stands for.

Suzie: As far as I can work out, the term scrawled on a million whiteboards by corporate trainers, Big Hairy Audacious Goals (BHAGs), was coined – or at least first publicized – by Jim Collins and Jerry I. Porras in their now modern business classic, Built to Last: Successful Habits of Visionary Companies.

Glenda asked : What do you need, Suzie? Hey, could we do a tweet-a-thon or something, assuming the bird stays awake?

Suzie: Great.

Glenda:Suzie, thinking out loud, if we put together a team of core tweeters in different time zones and we each tweet for an hour or so to send your message around the world. What do you think?? I’ve wanted to try something like for a while. Perhaps some would blog about the experiment too. Yes? No?"

Liz: Suzie I think the world-wide tweet might be an idea.

Liz Williams then said she would tweet too.

Glenda:"Suzie, should we try it? I can help mobilize/organize Team World after Friday. Then we set one day to tweet. What do you think?"

So the idea was born for a tweetathon and that led to forming Team World on the Ning platform.

This is the Law of Attraction in Action.

When I set first gave myself this BHAG I planned that my Attraction plan would continue on to attract $$$$ for The China Library Project. This is for schools and kids in China who have no books and my friend Lonnie Hodge is passionate about doing something to remedy the situation. Did you know that for $1,000 we can equip a primary school in China with its own library?

I had already set this whole process in motion on a Facebook group and I see that feeding into the Team Worldgroup on Ning.

We’ll also be helping Glenda get to SOBCon 2009, contributing to the Kiva micro-credit system and supporting other great and worthwhile causes.

Moving Forward Fearlessly

Vancouver here I come! The plane is booked, I stepped out of the comfort zone and I fly out of here June 3rd. After yesterday’s post Will I or won’t I, a dawn walk and beach meditation, the almost full moon in the sky that turned heart shaped in the photo and the sun rising, magic, I thought.

How blessed I felt and I heard that wise little voice inside saying, it’s time to step up and move forward fearlessly.
