I first wrote about this in August when I registered to participate and promote Blog Action Day. Today I received the promised reminder.
What will you be doing on
?
There are three ways you can take part and make a difference
- post anything that has to do with the environment on Monday October 15th
- donate part of your earnings to one of the charities involved
- register up and help to promote the event
Lorelle over at Blog Herald has an excellent article: Writing Tips for Blog Action Day which links to Joanne Young :10 Ways Our Words Can Make a Difference . This is a great reference for every day too. Joanne also included the wonderful Margaret Mead quote :
“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”

I apologize if this seems like comment spam, your contact page does not have a working form on it.
I wanted to share with you what I am doing for blog action day, to help get more people interested – giving away a Nalgene Refill Not Landfill reusable refillable water bottle – to help cut down on water bottle waste – 8 out of 10 water bottles end up in land fills, not recycled.
The contest ends on Monday and there are 3 ways to enter, the easiest of them is to simply leave a comment on the article, I’d like to invite you to enter the contest – there are 3 total ways to enter.

My blog action is a tribute to the environment…with animated shorts, award-winning documentaries, newsbites from leading conservationists from around the Globe, and reviews of films like DiCaprio’s 11th hour.
Check it out!
